This will be the blog site for Ancient Philosophy (Fall 2014). Details of assignments, extended discussions, suggested readings--and other of the daily bits and pieces of our course--will be featured here. You should join or bookmark the site and be sure to check it daily during the term.
Before our course starts, I want you to read two things: Aristophanes' play, The Clouds, and Lucian's play, The Sale of Creeds. I will assume familiarity with both during the course. They will provide a background against which we will work--and (bonus!) they are funny.
